Welcome to the Year of Magick. Starting on January 1st, 2007, I will be embarking on a journey of the mind! I’ve long believed in the supernatural and magick, but have yet to acutally try it in any meaningful way. This year, I will attempt to find out if magick is real by actually trying it. This blog will describe all magickal operations I attempt, along with the results (if any). I recommend reading each of the pages across the top of the blog before diving into the daily posts.
In addition, as part of the Year of Magick, I will be keeping a dream journal here as well. Read if you like, but it’s probably pretty dull. It’s more for my benefit–a way to identify recurring themes and to encourage lucid dreaming.
Finally, I have a partner in this. A natural born skeptic. My partner will be doing the same stuff I’m doing, but from the perspective of one who doesn’t quite believe in all this stuff. So for a different angle on the whole thing, check out Indolence.
